Being a guest creates anxiety for most people, so we have included information here to help reduce your anxiety and allow you to focus upon God during your time at First Baptist Tallapoosa.
Where do I park?
Parking is provided in church lots directly across the street in front of the sanctuary and education building at the corner of Head Avenue and Lyon Street or behind the sanctuary on Head Avenue.
Are in Ministry/Administrative Building
The women’s, men’s, and handicap restrooms are located on the first floor of the educational building which is next door to the sanctuary.
Sanctuary and Ministry Buildings
Our campus is almost an entire city block. The sanctuary and educational buildings which face West Lyon Street. Bible Study, Student Ministry, Kid’s Ministry, Preschool, and administrative offices are located in in education building next to the sanctuary.
Please dress casual, comfortable, and respectful.
Children (PreK-3rd Grade) are dismissed during worship before the sermon. Our children's church team will escort your children over to the fellowship hall located in the education building next door to the sanctuary.
The nursery is available in the education building next to the sanctuary.
Make Disciples
FBCT has Sunday morning Bible study for groups of all ages. Additionally, the you version Bible app allows people to engage in daily digital community devotions. Also, RightNow media is available for anyone and allows for individual, group, or family discipleship.
What is worship?
FBCT’s desire is for followers of Jesus to worship “in spirit and truth” (Jn. 4:24). The truth of Jesus and God's grace contrasted against a person’s sinfulness provides people a spiritual environment to give God all the glory.
Music Ministry
FBCT’s music is multigenerational which means the music you will experience will range from traditional hymns, Southern Gospel, and current Christian songs. The music selection each Sunday will provide you opportunities to sing praises in adoration to The Lord.
