Children (B - Pre-k) and Kid (1 -6th) Ministry FAQ

We want every child to know God's Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives. We know they'll have fun each week as they learn about who God is through games, activities, small groups, video teaching, and other activities to keep them engaged.

• Absolutely! Our room environments and lessons are designed to help your child grow with kids in their same age group. We’re passionate about supporting them in each stage of life, so we provide options from 1st-6th grade. As kids build relationships with leaders and other children, they gain the support and confidence to grow in their faith.

Staff: Every volunteer leader is screened, participates in a background check, and receives appropriate training from our staff. Additionally, our hallways are monitored by background-checked security to make sure your child remains safe and secure.

Pick Up: Safety is one of our highest priorities. Upon check-in, you will receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear their name tag sticker and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you will show the Kid's Min. leader your matching tag in order for your child to be released from their room.

Parent Contact: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, you can opt to be sent a text message or share your child’s last name and identification code on the screen in the sanctuary.

You will be greeted by a Kid's leader when you bring your child upstairs to Sunday School. There, they will show you how Kid's Ministry check-in works and if you're a first time visitor, we'll need some quick, basic information including a family member's name, your child's name and birthday, your address, phone number, and any special instructions. We'll be there every step of the way to assist in any way we can! Please feel free to contact us ahead of time to ask any questions you may have.

If you have a child with special needs who might need a little extra support to participate, we’d love to partner with you to make their experience amazing! We have leaders who have years of experience in meeting the needs of special needs students. Please contact us, and we'll meet with you and your child to develop a plan that allows them to develop in the faith.
