Student Ministry is for those in grades 7 - 12th.
Every Sunday morning in the Student Ministry room (upstairs in the ministry building beside the sanctuary) from 9:45 - 10:45.
Students meet for Wednesday Night Live at 6:00pm on Wednesday evenings on campus (unless otherwise published) in the student ministry room. This is a fun time where students will have food, fellowship and worship. Our WNL utilizes the Orange XP3 curriculum where students will focus upon three ideas:
1. The wonder for who God is.
2. The discovery of who He created them to be.
3. The passion for loving others.
Our student ministry annually holds a Disciple Now (DNow) ministry weekend for our student and their friends. The goal of DNow is to provide students a weekend where they focus on developing a deeper relationship with each other and Jesus. After all, our motto at First Tallapoosa is living life together with Jesus.
Students will be divided into groups and will stay in host homes. The DNow weekend will begin on a Friday night and conclude on Sunday morning. Please look for announcements regarding our DNow weekends.
Our student ministry will engage in an annual summer camp. This year, our students will be going to Ridgecrest to experience Centrifuge. Please read more about Centrifuge in the student ministry section on our ministries home page.
We take safety seriously at First Baptist Tallapoosa. All student volunteers must have a background check. While you students are in the custody of First Baptist Tallapoosa, whether on campus or off, parents can rest assured that leaders and volunteers will provide a safe environment where students can engage Jesus.
